Routed Exhibition

A colourful illustration of a blue elephant, standing on a small wooden easel, with a yellow background, on display among books on a table.

A suite of six augmented reality images was created as part of the Routed project. Each image is inspired by a shared memory that has a connection to Barnsley town centre.

Each bold and playful image is printed onto composite a metal plate, and springs into life with a carousel of colour and sound when viewed through the Artivive App.

A colorful art piece on a small easel depicts a blue figure with red hair playing a yellow trumpet, set on a wooden surface in a cozy indoor space.

These AR Images have been displayed indoors at the Light Box and Old George Town Hall Cafe and in outdoors in Churchfields Peace Gardens and provide a playful intervention for people visiting these locations.
